I went for lunch and got the Camerones Diavolo, which is spicy shrimp. It came with refried beans, rice, and tortillas. It was so good, and the waiter was friendly. I will be back!
We weren’t in a hurry to try this restaurant because of its rating, but once we finally did, we realized what we were missing. Chicano’s instantly became our fav Mexican restaurant from Venice to Port Charlotte. We find Chicano’s food much tastier , and their service much friendlier and accommodating.
Texas Fajitas were amazing. Nicely seasoned. The house made salsa was good and fresh, but If you like it a little hotter, request the habenero salsa. It's good and spicy. And for desert, church's! Good meal. Reasonably priced. Good service. Nice folks. Recommend.
This place is amazing! The owner Isal is amazing, kind, professional, has a very personable personality, great communication and very attentive! His pet bird Paco or Paco Taco is sooooo beautiful and so funny while he enjoys his patio time, tho keep your fingers outta his cage. Paco really loves and tolerates his owner Isal. I got a tamale and cheese enchiladas and they were really delicious! Cooked just perfectly. The resturaunt is clean and funly decorated. Amazing resturaunt!
Sam was an incredible server! The food, though!! It was incredible!! We had the Fiesta Burrito and the Chicken Fajitas, and everything was absolutely delicious. Super fresh and mouth watering. Best restaurant in Venice! Plus, it's family owned!
Isel (The owner) is awesome. Remembers your orders and drinks. Loved by so many regulars and goes above and beyond for his customers. Family owned and ran. Amazing Macaw out front that talks to you. Best Mexican restaurant in Sarasota County.
Stopped in for a quick beer and chips and salsa while we were shopping. The beer was crisp and cold and the chips were so fresh and salsa was homemade and delicious! Service was fast and friendly. We will be back to try more food.
